In May 2025, Maple Leaf Scuba was awarded with the prestigious PADI “Outstanding Contribution Toward The Growth Of Women In Diving” Award. This award recognized our efforts for supporting and empowering female divers worldwide.
Maple Leaf Scuba's staff is predominately all women where possible. All our Divemasters and Instructors are strong empowering women from various countries around the world. Maple Leaf Scuba is working hard to ensure women feel safe in what was once a male dominated industry.
In line with PADI’s Pillars of Change, we are focused on fostering diversity among genders and nurturing inclusion so that the underwater world is accessible to all. We are thrilled to accept this aware to encourage more females to seek adventure and save the ocean.
