Many may wonder about the name and the meaning behind it. It's unique. The daughter of a fisherman, Glenda's father had a fleet of boats all named after many of his kids. With her father being near and dear to her heart, she wanted to do just the same- name her boat after him. His name is Edward but nicknamed Ned. She also wanted her oldest brother to share in the name. He is a very special person with Down Syndrome. His name is also Edward but nicknamed Eddie. Hence, the name Neddie.

Peddie comes from the name Pedro. A special friend who was always there to support and help resolve many challenging issues. Building a boat was no easy task. However, Pedro made it fun and added humor to the not so humorous times. We owe a lot to him for all his kindness and hard work.
